About The Position

Under Global Procurement leadership, the Senior manager, Procurement Program Manager leads the team responsible for managing procurement, execution and capacity delivery of multiple and complex categories for Major Capital Equipment (MCE), with cross-functional and regionally diverse scope. The incumbent will also be required to support both regional and global category management and procurement functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of relevant experience in procurement program management, supply chain management, category management or consulting.
  • Strong skills in negotiation and influence.
  • Goal and team-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn & improve.
  • Flexibility and fast adaptation to changing environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a technical or engineering field or MBA.
  • Demonstrated experience with large-scale industrial engineering and construction programs, preferably data centers.
  • Experience working with Office Package, Power BI, Coupa, Anaplan.

Responsibilities

  • Engages and collaborates with cross-functional business teams for regional procurement by integrating plans and communicating risk & status clearly and crisply to management.
  • Serves as an escalation point to resolve stakeholder issues within the regional team.
  • Understands stakeholder needs and builds effective relationships.
  • Demonstrates influencing skills to achieve solutions and deal with challenging stakeholder situations.
  • Liaises across internal and external teams to ensure On Time Delivery of MCE products and services.
  • Provides management updates on supplier performance and team productivity.
  • Is an escalation point for the team for solving resource/budgetary issues.
  • Provides management and leadership across the team to ensure the team's growth is in alignment with business needs.
  • Sets goals for immediate team members.
  • Partners intra-regionally with business leaders and other key stakeholders to execute capital purchases that deliver cost savings.
  • Supports appropriate supply agreements and guides internal teams on monitoring adherence to the terms of the agreement.
  • Utilizes a global perspective in the execution of procurement strategy within the region.
  • Develops a vendor management strategy to 'right size' the supply strategy for the region.
  • Establishes and delivers procurement goals, metrics, and work plans to meet operational objectives.
  • Drives and delivers cost savings opportunities aligned with organizational commitments.
  • Builds and maintains supplier relationships and drives improvement in the areas of cost, risk, and quality.
  • Ensures KPI's are in place for the team which are appropriate for the needs of the function and its stakeholders.
