The Senior Manager, Learning Delivery supports the RTX Learning and Development (L&D) organization enabling the career development of RTX’s 185,000+ employees. This role is responsible for facilitating transformational learning experiences across leadership and enterprise skill-building programs. It upholds facilitation excellence and ensures the consistent, high-impact delivery of learning that equips employees and leaders with the skills, confidence, and mindset to apply new capabilities. The Senior Manager, Learning Delivery is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Associate Director, Learning Delivery and partners closely with a team of facilitators, instructional designers and with learning operations.

  • Demonstrate facilitation excellence, including facilitation models, toolkits, and train-the-trainer approaches while continuously evolving facilitation methods based on best practices and learner insights.
  • Deliver high-impact leader development programs to role model facilitation excellence to create an engaging learning environment for all participants.
  • Facilitate leader development programs and additional enterprise-wide skill-building content across multiple cohorts, geographies, and modalities (virtual, in-person).
  • Partner with peer Learning Delivery team members, including co-facilitation, to consistent, scalable, and high-quality program experiences.
  • Partner with program design teams to translate content into experiential, actionable, and behavior-changing learning experiences.
  • Ensure alignment with business outcomes and leadership capability goals across programs by connecting learning objectives to measurable performance and behavior change opportunities within the learner’s roles.
  • Create and maintain facilitation playbooks, standards, and ongoing development for facilitator communities of practice to ensure global consistency and elevate facilitation capability across the enterprise.
  • Rapidly learn and internalize new content areas, taking full ownership for delivery them with confidence, clarity and a learner-centric approach that elevates program quality.
  • Mentor peer facilitators to continuously elevate delivery impact, learner engagement, and instructional techniques.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through learner feedback and outcome-based measurement.
  • Drive innovation in facilitation methods—leveraging technology, storytelling, experiential learning, and leadership simulations to increase engagement, learner retention, and on-the-job application.
  • Partner with business and HR leaders to understand leadership capability needs and adapt facilitation strategies accordingly to tailor facilitation approach, examples, and scenarios to real-world business priorities.
  • Collaborate across BUs and with global and regional partners to ensure seamless delivery and scalability of programs.
  • Manage competing priorities while traveling for facilitation, ensuring seamless program delivery alongside other ongoing project, stakeholders and administrative responsibilities.
  • Typically requires: a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant Learning & Development facilitation experience; relevant HR experience in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Development or Talent Management.
  • Prior experience delivering world-class communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Prior experience leveraging adult learning principles, facilitation techniques, and experiential learning design.
  • Prior experience working with all levels of leadership to communicate and implement learning programs to support business goals.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Travel at least 80% of the time, including domestic and international.
