Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in learning, training, or sales leadership
  • 5+ years of relevant optical industry, sales, management, and training experience
  • Experience leading a high performing team (including hiring and performance management)
  • Expertise on content delivery with a focus on corporate and outside sales teams
  • Excellent in-person and virtual presentation skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven record of success dealing with multiple stakeholders across a large, complex organization
  • Developing adult learning content for in person and virtual classroom facilitation
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 70% of time)

Responsibilities

  • Partnering with NA Talent, HR Teams, and Business Unit Leadership to understand gaps and needs in the onboarding, ongoing education, and overall learning processes for teams in various business units/brands in North America, primarily focused on sales teams
  • Provide inspiring leadership to a team of direct reports focused on developing and delivering learning solutions for sales teams in NA
  • Develop and co-create comprehensive learning programs in partnership with the Milan Corporate Leonardo Team and NA partners
  • Deliver training experiences in multiple formats: live or hybrid instructor-led training, LMS-based eLearning, and Train the Trainer sessions
  • Work closely with the DTC, Professional Solutions, Corporate, and Milan teams to continue elevating current learning programs
  • Responsible for determining, analyzing and achieving the key performance indicators after content is delivered to the learner (participant reaction, turnover)
  • Collaborates with the Leonardo Team on processes and strategies to continue elevating the learning culture in the organization
  • Support as needed with key learning programs for our employees
