We're seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Manager, IT Systems & Cloud Operations to lead the management and modernization of enterprise infrastructure across Azure, VMware, and Windows environments. Requirements
- 8+ years in IT infrastructure operations, with 5+ years managing Azure cloud services (compute, storage, networking, identity).
- Strong background in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and endpoint management.
- 3+ years managing VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter).
- Proven experience implementing ISO 27001 and CMMC cybersecurity compliance.
- Demonstrated success leading technical teams and managing vendors, contracts, and SLAs.
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), valid passport, and driver's license required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in transportation, logistics, or maritime industries preferred.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Leadership - Oversee daily operations of Azure, VMware, and Windows infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- System Modernization - Lead the transformation of legacy systems to modern, cloud-based solutions that support evolving business needs and long-term growth.
- Cybersecurity Compliance - Maintain adherence to ISO 27001 and CMMC frameworks, ensuring all systems meet security and regulatory standards.
- Disaster Recovery & Continuity - Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience.
- Collaboration & Integration - Partner with architecture, DevOps, and application development teams to support seamless infrastructure readiness and integration.
- Automation & Optimization - Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across platforms to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Vendor & Resource Management - Manage vendor partnerships, licensing, and service-level agreements while leading a high-performing technical team focused on innovation and accountability.
- Monitoring & Reporting - Track infrastructure health, usage, and compliance metrics; prepare executive reports to support data-driven decision-making.
- Leadership & Mentorship - Inspire, guide, and develop technical professionals through coaching, collaboration, and performance management.
