About The Position

Drive strategic portfolio leadership and continuous improvement for EDS. This role is a clinical translator and strategic business partner, optimizing IT intake, workflows, and governance via TechConnect to advance clinical operations and enhance patient care. Plans and implements the strategic view of business objectives and the relationship to assigned Service Line projects for large scale, complex, multi-dimensional projects and programs. Plans, implements, and evaluates a portfolio of value-based programs. Participates in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance. Provides guidance to ensure that work is completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications. Evaluates strategy and engages with key stakeholders and clients in the resolution of complex issues. Leads team of Project Managers and/or Business Analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 8-10 years of project management delivery experience, 5-7 years of program management experience, and 5-7 years of leadership / management experience, required.
  • HIGHLY PREFERRED 8+ years in IT PM/process optimization (3+ leadership).
  • Strong ServiceNow, Power BI expertise.
  • Essential: Proven experience as a clinical translator, bridging IT and healthcare operations.
  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, communication (technical to clinical), and cross-functional collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or PgMP Certification, preferred.
  • Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred).
  • PMP, ITIL, LSS certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Strategic Governance: Direct IT intake governance, ensuring alignment, comprehensive risk assessment (clinical, AI, security), and executive approvals for IT solutions.
  • Optimize Workflows & Tools: Drive process automation and system enhancements (TechConnect/ServiceNow, integrations, data quality) to streamline IT workflows and deliver actionable clinical insights.
  • Foster Clinical Engagement: Act as a clinical translator, building strong partnerships with clinical leaders and staff to ensure IT solutions directly benefit patient care and achieve strong buy-in.
  • Leads and manages day to day activities of a combination of direct report Project Managers, Supervisors and/or Business Analysts to achieve large scale program objectives.
  • Provides guidance to planning and implementation for a portfolio of programs and engages key personnel to deliver on departmental and organizational initiatives; works across departments to coordinate complex projects and initiatives; develops, implements, scales and sustains program initiatives.
  • Responsible for aligning internal and external stakeholders and communicating project needs and milestones; develops program goals and objectives with measurable and actionable metrics.
  • Partners with leadership to develop tools and metrics to evaluate performance; partners with analytics team and collects data for review and analysis; prepares analyses, reports and presentations for management.
  • Actively monitors program key performance indicators and proactively addresses deviation from performance goals; prepares additional recommendations and adjustments to plan, as needed.
  • Designs, prepares and presents program assessment, data analysis, and strategy recommendations; develops project charters, project plans, and business plans.
  • Collects benefit investment and operational data to assess performance; evaluates program performance, prepares dashboards and makes strategic program recommendations.
  • Conducts research on innovative new practices, identifies best practices and incorporates these ideas into program design; prepares operational analysis, flow charts, presentations and reports.
  • Presents analysis and recommendations to leadership; obtains feedback and collaborates with management to develop program improvement plans.
  • Monitors program plan performance and prepares status reports; supports partner and customer needs for organizational initiatives and client relationships.
  • Manages, hires, trains, and evaluates the performance of staff; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely manner.
  • Performs related duties as required.
