If so, we invite you to join our team as Senior Manager, IT Manufacturing in Decatur, AL. In this role, you will lead the digital evolution of our Decatur, AL, and Camden, SC manufacturing facilities, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and growth. As a key strategic partner, you will drive the adoption of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, Brilliant Factory tools, reporting solutions, and more to empower our shop floor teams and align with our long-term business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an Engineering-related field.
  • 7+ years of IT experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience, managing and developing IT teams.
  • Proven success in implementing and supporting digital technology solutions in manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and occasional travel as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP, or Agile certification.
  • Experience with automation/robotics, Cognex/Keyence scanners, and OT security.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISA-95 and IEC 61850.
  • Experience managing IT operations in Managed Services Provider (MSP) environments.
  • Previous experience in the appliance manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across two manufacturing sites, ensuring seamless implementation of IT solutions that enhance shop floor operations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals responsible for manufacturing systems and operational technology (OT).
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to define and execute IT strategies that align with business goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, performance metrics, and process optimization.
  • Champion best practices in manufacturing IT to maximize efficiency, productivity, and tool adoption.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to plant leadership, providing expert guidance on IT initiatives and digital roadmaps.
  • Oversee IT budgets, asset management, and project scheduling to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Lead system design, configuration, and maintenance of MES (GE Verona Proficy Cimplicity) and ERP (Oracle) systems.
  • Manage critical shop floor applications such as scanners, badge readers, fire systems, and security cameras.
