Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of International Treasury to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that APAC markets are optimally funded, managing cash repatriation to the US, and leading cross-functional teams to process intercompany transactions. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and the ability to work across different time zones, including outside of normal business hours to support the APAC markets. The Senior Manager will work closely with Finance, Tax, Legal, and Treasury teams across BMS to ensure appropriate financing of legal entities in a timely manner. The successful candidate should have a proven track record in Finance, demonstrate strong leadership and project management skills, and can work well with and influence all levels of management. The candidate must demonstrate broad financial and business decision-making abilities and be viewed as a partner with internal and external clients.

Requirements

  • Minimum education of a bachelor's degree with a preferred focus in business or a finance discipline is required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of business or finance experience with the ability to demonstrate broad financial and business decision-making abilities is required.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail required.
  • Must be able to learn quickly and understand complex issues, tax implications, and legal entity structure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Significant work with all groups within a Treasury function, and within a global capacity.
  • Flexibility and sensitivity to cultural and cross-functional issues are vital.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate APAC market needs.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA/CFA/CTP is preferred.
  • Additional experience in project management, treasury and/or international treasury experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as key treasury liaison to APAC markets.
  • Understand legal entities' financial statements, key drivers of cash flow, and forex exposure to proactively address international markets’ cash needs.
  • Work with International markets to understand statutory accounts and identify opportunities to maximize cash repatriation to the US.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize treasury operations and improve financial performance.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes to inform treasury decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and legal teams, to support business objectives.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on treasury activities, financial performance, and risk management to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures related to treasury operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Participate in special projects and initiatives as required.
