About The Position
Novocure is a global publicly-traded commercial-stage oncology company developing a profoundly different cancer treatment therapy called tumor treating fields (TTFields) for patients with solid tumors. TTFields therapy is a non-invasive, novel, antimitotic treatment modality that utilizes proprietary technology attempting to slow or reverse tumor progression by inducing tumor cell death. Novocure's commercialized product, Optune, is approved for the treatment of adult patients with glioblastoma (GBM) in the USA, Europe, and Israel. Novocure has ongoing or completed clinical trials and is further expanding its efforts into several other solid tumor indications - non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, and other types of solid cancers. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Intellectual Property Counsel to lead the development of a forward-looking IP strategy to translate pre-clinical and clinical research into a multi-indication pipeline aligned with Novocure's evolving business and regulatory goals. In this role you will need to be demonstrate close collaboration with internal research teams, academic institutions, and external partners. The ideal candidate will operate with confidence, creativity, and autonomy-thriving at the intersection of cutting-edge oncology research and strategic IP creation. Engage with leading Tumor Treating Fields researchers, distill complex legal issues into actionable business insights, and represent Novocure with authority in high-stakes negotiations. This is a full-time, exempt position that will report to Senior Director, Lead IP Counsel and will be located in our R&D center, Haifa, Israel.
