AAA Oregon/Idaho is looking for a Senior Insurance Manager to join our team in Central/Southern Oregon! Responsible for developing and supporting profitable Agency growth over a large region in both premium and revenue. Supports, develops, recruits, and supervises the Insurance Sales Professionals and Insurance Sales Representatives of the assigned region. Works in close partnership with onsite leaders across locations to manage dispersed staff. Recommends strategies for growing the Agency and reaching departmental goals and objectives. This position can be based out of any of our Central or Southern Oregon offices, with regional travel up to 25% required.

  • Develop and support profitable Agency growth over a large region in both premium and revenue.
  • Support, develop, recruit, and supervise the Insurance Sales Professionals and Insurance Sales Representatives.
  • Work in close partnership with onsite leaders across locations to manage dispersed staff.
  • Recommend strategies for growing the Agency and reaching departmental goals and objectives.
  • Supervise 20-30 year-round full-time non-exempt Insurance Sales Professionals.
  • Make recommendations to Vice President of Insurance regarding possible disciplinary action of Insurance Sales Professionals and Insurance Service Representatives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent experience required.
  • Licensed in Property and Casualty Insurance required.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful Insurance sales leadership with recent experience at a similar scope of authority.
  • Successful track record of Sales performance as a producer and/or leader.
  • Strong team building skills with ability to manage large team of direct reports.
  • Strong managerial skills with ability to make independent decisions using sound judgement and discretion.
  • Strategic and creative thinking and strong problem-solving ability.
  • Organizational and time management skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work in a team environment.
  • Mediation and negotiation skills required.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to seek creative solutions in analyzing problems.
  • Computer skills required including but not limited to: Word, Excel, EPIC, Document Scanning Software, and insurance carrier proprietary systems.
