About The Position

The Senior Manager, Installation Operations oversees our residential installation business, leading the performance and relationships of our third-party installation network. This role is responsible for managing the installation customer experience, ensuring operational excellence, and expanding our installation footprint to deliver best-in-class service. You will Think Fast by driving continuous improvement initiatives; Work It Together by collaborating with internal teams and external partners; and Make the Hard Call by balancing cost, quality, and speed to achieve strategic objectives. Position location: Home-based with up to 25% travel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent construction or plumbing experience.
  • Plumbing license required
  • 5+ years experience in Operations, Logistics, &/or Construction – performing hands on plumbing work a plus.
  • 2 – 5 years managing networks of independent tradespeople, or partnering with third parties who provide access to those trades.
  • Ability to effectively communicate across multiple disciplines and levels, ranging from senior management to peers.
  • Thorough understanding of construction &/or plumbing installation project management.
  • Position is home-based with travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Master Plumbing license preferred.
  • Prior experience in construction project management &/or plumbing preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple external partners who install Moen smart water devices in residential homes, including oversight of rates, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure installation operations run smoothly, maintaining high standards for speed and quality.
  • Develop and onboard new installation partners to increase coverage, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Create and update installation procedures and communications for plumbers and contractors to ensure efficient order processing.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on installation success and reducing time-to-install.
  • Engage cross-functional stakeholders to resolve installer and customer issues promptly.
  • Communicate with internal teams to support new and existing business, positioning installation services as a competitive differentiator.
  • Manage a team of two associates supporting these objectives.
