Oversees multiple distribution centers within a region to ensure quality freshness and food safety of grocery products by implementing and monitoring quality control policies and procedures teaching quality inspection practices to provide consistency of execution calibrating inspection methodology with authorities and communicating acceptance and rejection performance to suppliersEnsures compliance with quality specifications for example cutting styling packaging and labeling by inspecting execution of Walmart quality standards reviewing supplier performance on quality standards in real time on the production line stopping a production line if needed to resolve quality issues inspecting key areas of the facility guiding the utilization and communication of inspection data and confirming that suppliers take corrective actions as neededManages cold chain compliance of storage areas and shipping process to maintain quality throughout the supply chain by reviewing prevention activities and issue resolution that connect with supplier quality functions across facility campus working with suppliers and external manufacturers to ensure compliance analyzing data to determine process gaps developing process improvements and collaborating with suppliers and external manufacturers to implement these improvements tracking and monitoring the impact of process changes proactively anticipating risk and addressing preventative action across facility campus and completing facility audits and proactively addressing risk areasLeads meat quality assurance program utilizing reports to monitor and maintain accurate recording of meat inspection data analyzing data to determine trends concerns and process gaps overseeing collaboration with supplier partner to
