About The Position

As the Senior Manager, HR Shared Services, you will drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and service delivery across the enterprise. This role provides strategic oversight to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws while delivering a consistent employee experience. Partnering closely with HR Centers of Excellence and business leaders, you will lead process improvements, support digital adoption and employee self-service, and ensure escalated employee, manager, and HR inquiries are resolved accurately and within established service levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human Resources and/or business administration
  • 3+ years of prior relevant experience required
  • Experience working within applicable employment laws and HR regulatory frameworks
  • Strong understanding of HR operations within a shared services model, preferably in a large, multi-unit organization
  • Advanced knowledge of HR systems such as Workday and Learning Management Systems preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated leadership presence with strong decision-making and analytical skills
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining exceptional service standards

  • Advanced knowledge of HR systems such as Workday and Learning Management Systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Ensure HR processes remain fully compliant with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Lead and develop HR Shared Services team members to drive operational success, SLA achievement, and service accuracy
  • Monitor and analyze performance against service level targets and adjust workflow, staffing, and processes to optimize results
  • Partner with HR leadership and Centers of Excellence to define service level standards and improve cross-functional processes
  • Provide expert guidance to HR leaders on shared services operations to ensure a consistent enterprise-wide experience
  • Oversee daily HRSS operations including hiring decisions, onboarding, training, recognition, performance management, and discipline
  • Drive process improvements that increase organizational effectiveness and enhance digital adoption
