About The Position

The Sr. Manager, HR Shared Services - North America is responsible for leading and managing the HR Shared Services function across the US and Canada. This role manages a team of individuals who provide centralized HR operations support and services across the employee lifecycle-from onboarding, offboarding and everything in between. This position will ensure excellence in HR Service Delivery, compliance and process optimization and serve as a key partner for the broader HR Shared Service Organization.

Requirements

  • Experience leading HR service delivery in a multi-country North American region, including U.S. and Canada.
  • Proficiency with HR technology platforms (SAP, HCM & SuccessFactors) and service management tools (SalesForce).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross functional relationships, complex workflows, and regulatory compliance in HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of the North American HR Shared Services model aligned with global standards and local requirements.
  • Lead service delivery for HR transactions across the employee lifecycle; recruiting support, onboarding, job changes, terminations, leave management and position management, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with defined service level agreements (SLA's), with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and employee experience.
  • Develop, monitor, and continuously improve standard operations procedures (SOPs), workflows, and knowledge/documentation.
  • Manage shared services support including, but not limited to, interview scheduling, background check coordination/adjudication and systematic applicant tracking system candidate/end-user support.
  • Ensure seamless and compliant onboarding and offboarding experiences.
  • Provide data, documentation, and administrative assistance with HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Maintain compliance with data privacy regulations and audit requirements.
  • Ensure sensitive information is managed with confidentiality and in compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Champion a client-service-oriented mindset across the HRSS team, serve as an escalation point for issues.
  • Act as a trusted partner to HR Business Partners, COEs, business leaders and functional teams across the region.
  • Drive feedback loops and satisfaction surveys to monitor and enhance experience.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing regional HRSS team, including setting goals, coaching, performance management, and professional development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, inclusion, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Partner with Global HRSS to implement system enhancements, workflow improvements, and digital tools.
  • Support change management efforts and communication strategies for new processes or system impacting the region.
