About The Position

The Senior Manager of Global Product Line Management for Engine & Industrial Hose owns the strategic direction of Gates global Engine & Industrial Hose product lines - enabling commercial success, operational execution, and product innovation across the portfolio. This role reports to the Senior Director of Fluid Power Global Product Line Management and works collaboratively across the organization - including the leaders within Operations, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Technical Development.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of applicable experience including roles with global work experience.
• High Level interpersonal and leadership skills.
• High degree of managerial, leadership, and communication skills.
• Demonstration of a strategic mindset including roadmap development.
• Strong business acumen with knowledge of go-to-market strategies.
• Experience in Fluid Power, Engine Coolant, or Fluid Conveyance businesses is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• MBA or similar secondary degree preferred.
• New product commercialization experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the regional teams on achieving financial targets for the product lines.
• Drive initiatives, new product introductions, and productivity opportunities that improve the financial health of the global hose portfolio.
• Develop, present, own, and action the global product line strategies.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the global engine hose and industrial hose markets and products.
• Support inorganic growth opportunities with target identification and business case insights.
• Integrate and harmonize regional insights into a product roadmap and Multi-Generational Product Plan.
• Lead new global product commercialization including defining value propositions and pricing strategy.
• Lead prioritization, execution, and location decisions for global aftermarket engine hose portfolio.
• Provide a balanced perspective and supplement resources in regional operations, technical, and commercial teams.
• Lead, develop, and mentor a high-functioning and results driven team.

• Salary Range: $165,000 - $195,000
