About The Position

Work at a fortune 500 company providing operations and compliance support for our Government Affairs organization! We are currently recruiting for a Senior Manager, Government Affairs Operations & Compliance to join us in Washington D.C. office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in accounting, compliance, operations, or a related field.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Advance MS PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience with compliance, budgets, financial controls, and facilities management.
  • Strong leadership and relationship management skills with proven ability to meet goals and timelines.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with management and individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Advanced degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Government Affairs budget process in coordination with Government Affairs budget owners and coordinators.
  • Act as the liaison with Finance to ensure Government Affairs is aligned with company budget priorities, processes, and deadlines.
  • Provide oversight and review of publicly disclosed lobbying related expenditures.
  • Lead the Government Affairs compliance program in collaboration with Law, Compliance and Integrity, Information Management, Corporate Audit, and Information Technology.
  • Ensure that Government Affairs has processes and systems in place to meet compliance obligations with external requirements and internal policies.
  • Regularly review compliance business processes and systems related to political contributions (Aristotle), organizational contributions (CyberGrants), and contracts to ensure that meaningful, streamlined controls exist.
  • Responsible for Facilities Management of the DC Office and provide support to State Government Affairs field offices.
  • Support the department head with Human Resources and Culture related responsibilities.
