About The Position

The Senior Manager, Governance & Control oversees and leads a highly complex and diverse governance and control function for an area of significant risk, complexity or scope usually involving medium to long term planning, ensuring an integrated approach with other business governance and control areas, the broader organization and enterprise control functions. Requirements

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated track record of cost, quality and schedule control of projects
  • Proven ability to effectively manage projects
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Detail oriented

  • Advise, guide, support and challenge business owners on pre-contact & post-contract activities and manage the relationship
  • Identify, assess, monitor, report on and help prioritize the remediation of 3rd party risk and control gaps or issues including playing a lead role in risk and control assessments.
  • Accountable for respective Segment/Corporate area's third party risk reporting, monitoring and supporting remediation for the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with partners by providing expertise to enable informed decisions in alignment with the overall risk tolerance.
  • Partner with CSOC/CSIRT to support, respond and action third party cyber security incidents
  • Partner with VMOs and TPRO COEs to continuously improve control environment
  • Enhancing the culture and awareness of proactively managing and mitigating Third Party Risk
  • Performing support and effective 1B challenge of Third Party Risk activities
  • Driving change initiatives in the Third Party space on behalf of the businesses and corporate areas
  • Act as a Liaison with 2nd line, 3rd line and Regulators on behalf of the 1st line
