The Senior Manager, Global Tax reporting leads the global income tax reporting process and supports key areas of tax operations, U.S. and international compliance, transfer pricing, planning, and strategic modeling. This position plays a key role in preparing the consolidated ASC 740 tax provision for a complex multinational public company, while also contributing to technology enablement, audit support, process improvements and planning related to global tax initiatives, including Pillar Two. Reporting to the Global Tax Director, the ideal candidate has deep ASC 740 experience, broad tax expertise, excellent leadership and critical thinking skills, strong technical proficiency with ONESOURCE Tax Provision, advanced Excel modeling skills, and experience working in a growing multinational environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's in Taxation or JD preferred
  • CPA required
  • 8+ years of progressive corporate tax experience, including public company experience with ASC 740, U.S. federal and state tax, and international tax
  • Hands-on experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision, complex Excel tax provision models, or similar software
  • Proficiency in U.S. international tax rules (GILTI, FDII, FTCs, etc) and state income tax provisions
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and automation tools (Power Query, Power BI)
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and complex formulas

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of the consolidated global tax provision (federal, state, and foreign) in accordance with ASC 740
  • Manage return-to-provision adjustments, valuation allowances, uncertain tax positions, and tax account reconciliations
  • Prepare and review state tax provision components, including apportionment, state NOLs, and credit utilization
  • Coordinate tax footnote disclosures and support internal controls and external audits (SOX and SEC reporting)
  • Develop and deliver training to internal tax staff and foreign finance personnel on ASC 740, tax provision processes, tax controls, and system best practices
  • Support U.S. federal and state tax compliance
  • Assist in preparation and review of U.S. international tax calculations, including GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits, Subpart F, and BEAT
  • Ensure accurate tax data flows between provision and compliance processes
  • Support transfer pricing compliance and documentation requirements, including data collection and external advisor coordination
  • Partner with the accounting and FP&A teams to prepare and review transfer pricing and other tax related entries
  • Build and maintain transfer pricing models to ensure alignment with intercompany policy
  • Own and enhance the use of ONESOURCE Tax Provision, including system administration, data integration with ERP, and automation of reporting
  • Identify opportunities for automation and improvement in provision and tax operations
  • Maintain and enhance Excel-based tools for ETR modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure SOX compliance in tax-related processes
  • Model long-term tax impacts, including impacts of global initiatives such as Pillar Two and U.S. tax reform (One Big Beautiful Bill Act)
  • Provide tax insights and modeling support for business transactions, M&A, and legal entity restructuring
  • Stay current on legislative and regulatory developments and assess their impact on the company's tax position
