About The Position

The Senior Manager, Global Procurement - Market Access will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the overall strategy for the Market Access Procurement area. We are looking for someone who can be a business strategy influencer & collaborator to advise our Market Access teams around market supply dynamics and leading practices. The ideal candidate will be able to proactively manage a supply base and maximize value, minimize risk, and ensure quality & cost effectiveness by working collaboratively with their colleagues & business partners. This is an opportunity to work in a growing, dynamic environment where you'll leverage your Procurement & Category Management experience to anticipate future business requirements for Regeneron's growing commercial activities. This role is based at our Corporate HQ in Sleepy Hollow, NY and required to be onsite 4 days / week - this is not open to remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
• 8+ years of experience in relevant functions or industries, demonstrating growth in experience, scale, and development throughout.
• Demonstrated experience working across multiple spend categories within a procurement team.
• Sophisticated negotiations skills and proficiency utilizing data to build business cases.
• Cost modeling knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build consensus across a diverse, collaborative team with limited supervision.
• Program / project management experience.
• Ability to leverage standard business applications for communicating, presenting and analyzing data (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Accountable for supporting the definition and implementation of the Global Market Access Category strategies to serve global and regional business needs.
• Works closely with stakeholders to manage discussions and aligns category priorities with Procurement management and stakeholders.
• Leverages analytical and negotiation skills to drive cost competitiveness.
• Enables decision making by providing financial insights and recommendations.
• Takes direction to drive value in terms of cost savings, cash flow improvement, and other efficiency savings from agency activities.
• Supports Global Procurement by participating in organizational decisions in the Market Access categories with critical short and long-term impact on the success, efficiency, growth, and results of the study team.
• Demonstrates knowledge of efficient global procurement organizations and processes within the biopharmaceutical industry to support the growth and evolution of the Global Procurement organization.
• Negotiates contract terms and conditions in consultation with Law department aligned with Regeneron's priorities and business requirements, as needed.
• May either directly or through a matrix structure, manages teams of professional level employees responsible for performing category management tasks (if applicable).
• Uses data to drive decision-making for successful category study projects.
