About The Position

Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is seeking a high-potential Senior Manager, Global Operations to support the COO of BEWS. This role is critical at the center of the business and offers a unique opportunity for a driven, analytically strong, and execution-focused leader motivated by impact, learning, and executive-level visibility. The position will be based in Plano, Texas or Boise, Idaho, with no relocation offered. The Senior Manager, Global Operations will act as a strategic partner and execution lead to the COO and the Global Operations leadership team, driving operational rigor, enabling leadership decision-making, and ensuring alignment across key business priorities. This role combines analytical depth, executive storytelling, and operational execution to support critical initiatives, leadership forums, and strategic programs, operating with a mandate from the Head of Global Operations to drive alignment, execution, and follow-through across senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in: PowerPoint (expert-level storytelling and executive presentations), Excel / data analysis, Power BI, AI tools to drive faster and better decisions.
  • Experience with: OKR frameworks or strategic planning processes, Program or project management.
  • Ability to synthesize: Financial data, Operational metrics, Market insights.
  • Leadership Traits: Motivated by impact and learning, not hierarchy or title. Demonstrates high ownership and accountability. Strong bias for action and speed. High intellectual curiosity and learning agility. Comfortable operating in high-visibility, high-pressure environments. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • 3–7 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Strategy / consulting, Business operations, Finance / analytics, Corporate strategy or similar roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the COO and Operations Leadership Team to shape strategic priorities, narratives, and decision frameworks.
  • Conduct structured analyses (financial, operational, market-driven) with a strong lens on growth and profitability.
  • Translate complex data into clear, compelling executive insights, collaborating with the Data CoE to drive a step change in our data framework, including leveraging AI.
  • Develop high-quality executive presentations for forums such as Board meetings, Leadership Team meetings, QBRs, and strategy reviews.
  • Craft clear, concise narratives that connect strategy, financials, and execution.
  • Ensure consistency and clarity of messaging across leadership communications.
  • Support definition, tracking, and execution of OKRs and strategic initiatives across the business.
  • Drive follow-through and accountability across cross-functional teams.
  • Lead prioritization discussions to help the business pivot quickly and remain agile in a high-growth environment.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation actions.
  • Facilitate Leadership Team (LT) meetings, including agenda setting, preparation of materials, and follow-ups.
  • Drive the operating cadence (QBRs, AEMs, strategic planning, operational reviews).
  • Ensure meetings are decision-oriented, efficient, and outcome-driven.
  • Lead and coordinate high-impact, cross-functional initiatives, ensuring the right stakeholders are involved at the right time.
  • Act as a central point of coordination across Sourcing, Product, Finance, Engineering, and Sales, enabling strong collaboration and fast decision-making.
  • Drive accountability and ownership through the business.
