WHY: The purpose of this role is to lead other leaders in shaping and executing strategies that advance our 5-year vision for Global Manufacturing Electrical & SDV. This includes driving organizational lighthouse goals—such as achieving Electrical First-Time Quality (E-FTQ)—while building leadership capability across the enterprise. WHAT: As a Senior Manager, you will provide strategic direction and empower managers and technical experts to deliver results through their teams, ensuring alignment to business priorities and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration. HOW: By guiding and developing leaders who support our plants, removing barriers, and enabling cross-functional alignment to make it happen for our customers—delivering operational excellence and accelerating transformation across Global Manufacturing.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of manufacturing experience, ideally within automotive, with a record of leading through industry shifts
  • Proven ability to articulate visionary concepts and lead diverse teams toward future excellence.
  • Demonstrated project and program management expertise, with deep understanding of automotive systems, program launches, and technology evolution.
  • Strong passion for people development, mentoring, and building team capability.
  • Experience managing complex operations and launches across multiple locations.
  • This role requires up to 40% domestic and international travel.

  • Proven expertise in electrical manufacturing engineering and process optimization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop high-performing teams, setting clear objectives and driving results through visionary thinking and execution.
  • Provide strategic direction and inspire large, diverse teams to deliver on organizational priorities, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration across functions.
  • Champion the achievement of our organization’s lighthouse goals—such as software/hardware design in-house and achieving Electrical First-Time Quality (E-FTQ) targets- by aligning team efforts, resources, and initiatives to these priorities.
  • Solve complex problems for manufacturing operations by anticipating challenges, removing obstacles, and guiding teams to deliver effective solutions that support our 5-year vision.
  • Drive enterprise-level impact by shaping strategies, policies, and processes that influence multiple plants and functions, ensuring scalability and sustainability of solutions.
  • Mentor and develop talent, fostering a people-first culture and building organizational capability to deliver on business needs.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships across software, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and program management team to synergize efforts.
  • Drive innovation in manufacturing software and process, equipment, and product strategy, supporting plant launches and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a forward-thinking work culture that embraces change and navigates future organizational and industry challenges.
