Role summary: The Senior Manager, Global Event Strategy & Solutions leads the strategy, planning, and execution of enterprise events that support both Suppliers and Marketplace Sellers across Walmart’s international markets. This role oversees a portfolio of in-person, virtual, and hybrid events—including Growth Summits, trade shows, and region-specific activations—ensuring each experience is strategically aligned, locally relevant, and consistent with Walmart’s brand. The role requires close coordination with Sourcing, Marketplace, and International teams, as well as cross-functional partners in comms, tech, and merchandising. About the team: The Global Event Strategy & Solutions team delivers high-impact events that support both Suppliers and Marketplace Sellers across Walmart’s international markets. From Growth Summits to trade shows and hybrid activations, the team designs scalable experiences that drive business growth, stakeholder engagement, and global brand alignment. Working cross-functionally with Global Sourcing, Marketplace, and Walmart International, the team ensures every event reflects Walmart’s strategic priorities while adapting to local market needs. With expertise across formats and regions, they create unified platforms that accelerate opportunity, build trust, and elevate Walmart’s global presence. What you'll do: Lead end-to-end strategy and execution for enterprise events across international markets. Design and deliver experiences for both Suppliers and Marketplace Sellers, with tailored content and intentional overlap where appropriate. Manage cross-functional planning cycles in coordination with teams across Walmart International. Own event infrastructure, platform enablement, and stakeholder engagement tools to drive matchmaking, onboarding, and growth readiness. Partner with Comms, Merchandising, and regional leads to shape content, amplify impact, and ensure brand consistency across markets and channels. Track performance metrics and feedback to continuously evolve the event strategy. Represent the event team as a strategic partner across internal workstreams, external agencies, and global leadership discussions.
