About The Position

Oversee the daily operations of the branch, the safekeeping of cash and monetary instruments and compliance. Utilize service excellence model to supervise, coach, motivate, and develop team to establish and maintain effective member relationships. Ensure the delivery of high-quality member service. Develop and maintain relationships with key individuals in United Nations organizations in order to facilitate operations. Uphold UNFCU's mission and core values by promoting teamwork, developing staff, and leading by example. Drive achievement of corporate and branch goals and objectives. Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and UNFCU's Code of Ethics & Business Conduct. This position is onsite NYC. Salary Range - $125,000 - $135,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; college coursework preferred.
  • 10 years of progressive financial services experience in a retail banking environment.
  • At least 4 years of management experience with sales, service and operations accountability.
  • Notary public required or must be obtained within 90 days.
  • Medallion stamp authorization to be obtained within 180 days.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and use other job-related applications.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold UNFCU's mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members.
  • Ensure staff utilize service excellence model by asking effective questions and building relationships.
  • Ensure staff become a trusted advisor to members by presenting the features and benefits of UNFCU's products and services.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality service to members in a branch environment.
  • Oversee smooth operations of the branch by ensuring adequate staffing.
  • Select, develop, train, coach, evaluate, and motivate staff to maximize performance.
  • Administer staff performance snapshots.
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation within the Branch and across the Credit Union.
  • Ensure staff comply with applicable regulations and UNFCU policies and procedures.
  • Maintain updated and well-documented Branch Controls.
  • Develop and implement effective processes and workflow adjustments to increase efficiencies.
  • Prepare and maintain records of employee productivity, sales tracking, quality control and attendance.
  • Perform Branch audits of all monetary instruments and ensure Branch is reconciled and balanced daily.
  • Review activity reports and make recommendations for improvements and development of goals.
  • Manage and oversee Remote Deposit Capture processors for mobile banking.
  • Manage, maintain, and monitor in-house and off-site Automated Teller Machines.
  • Contact NCR for servicing ATMs as needed.
  • Collaborate with IT in configuring new ATMs and troubleshooting related technical issues.
  • Provide up and downtime status of ATMs.
  • Serve as the CU primary contact with vendors such as NCR, CO-OP, FDR, BRINKS cash handlers, CXI, Glory, The Federal Reserve Bank of NY and of Minneapolis, and US Treasury.
  • Maintain knowledge of Victor Client (Security Surveillance Cameras) System.
  • Contribute to, and on occasion lead cross-functional project teams as requested.
  • Act as signatory on drafts; approve and override Teller transactions.
  • Respond to Branch alarm during non-business hours.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Uphold UNFCU's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies and procedures.
