The global team manages the life-cycle of securities lending activity—collateral, reconciliations, recalls/returns, buy-ins, corporate actions, and oversight—while modernizing processes and technology to scale safely. This Senior Leader has a high-impact leadership role accountable for setting the global strategy and vision for Securities Lending Operations and owning and driving Securities Lending Operations OKRs. This leader is expected to deliver measurable improvements in quality, scale, and risk outcomes, and to serve as a strong voice, influencing technology roadmaps and operational priorities aligned to Securities Lending. The ideal candidate has strong financial and operational acumen with a proven track record leading large, complex organizations. This leader can align stakeholders globally and translate strategy into durable operational execution.

Requirements

  • Minimum of eight years’ related work experience, with at least three years of Investment Operations experience.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Accounting or Finance degree preferred.
  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • CFA or other financial designations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Leads strategic planning efforts. Ensures operational aspects of the funds are met for the department.
  • Establishes short and long term goals, and leads strategic planning efforts.
  • Develops and implements strategic operational plans in support of departmental objectives.
  • Oversees transactions processing requests, and leverages knowledge of global industry trends to recommend improvements to existing processes.
  • Oversees, manages, and owns the resolution of key initiatives.
  • Contributes to the development of the departmental business planning and budget.
  • Collaborates with senior leaders across the department and division to determine growth objectives and opportunities.
  • Establishes metrics to determine effectiveness and progress.
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
