This specialized group will give you a unique opportunity to apply and further develop your forensic investigative, litigation and accounting skills. The variety of assignments will provide you with exposure to many interesting and adaptable situations.

  • Lead and contribute to the completion of forensic dispute engagements, specifically in damages quantification for commercial disputes at court or arbitration.
  • Work closely with the Partners in providing client service and carrying out the day-to-day fieldwork on a variety of investigative assignments.
  • Manage several engagements and multiple priorities at a time, ensuring quality and timeliness of working papers and deliverables.
  • Lead forensic accounting investigation mandates such as financial fraud investigations, fraud prevention, forensic accounting examinations, and calculating and analyzing claims for financial losses.
  • Prepare and implement investigative workplans concerning sensitive litigation cases and impartially analyze complex financial issues.
  • Assist with interviews of people who have knowledge of, or are allegedly involved in, fraud or misconduct.
  • Prepare file documentation and ensure appropriate and timely document oversight.
  • Contribute to preparation of written reports summarizing investigation procedures and findings.
  • Assist in establishing and monitoring project budgets, ensuring timely billing and collections.
  • Participate in marketing and business development at a Sr. Manager level, including developing professional networks and supporting business development initiatives.
  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in a related field (forensic accounting, audit, investigation, damages quantification, insurance claims, vendor/supplier due diligence, contract compliance, and/or business valuations), including at least four years specializing in forensic.
  • CPA designation.
  • Forensic specialization with a complementary professional designation such as CBV, CFA, CFE, ACFCS, or CFF.
  • Ability to work self-guided with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze large amounts of data/information.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access).
  • Experience with data metrics, SQL database and/or eDiscovery software such as Relativity is an asset.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills with the ability to identify and define issues in a clear and articulate manner.
  • Ability to produce concise and structured client presentations and reports.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure, managing multiple projects, resources, and budgets appropriately.
