The Surface Transportation org is expanding and introducing new capabilities to our Maintenance business that supports all Middle Mile assets (tractors, trailers, containers, box trucks, and hostlers). Surface Transportation seeks to hire a Senior Manager, Fleet Maintenance to develop a world class middle mile transportation maintenance organization that delivers high asset uptime at low cost. The Senior Manager for this team will have the opportunity to own the fleet maintenance central teams that focus on rapid disruption management, improving uptime and reducing maintenance cost. Our customers are leaders across Amazon who need support for cross-functional complex transportation problems. The Senior Manager will be able to act as a large team leader developing long-term vision, implementing strategies, and corresponding roadmaps using data, tools, and mechanisms. The Senior Manager has the opportunity to act as a bridge between operations teams and technology teams. The Senior Manager can think on behalf of customers to solve complex operations problems by implementing scalable mechanisms that can be automated.
