Senior Manager, Payment Strategic Partnerships Expedia Product & Technology builds innovative products, services, and tools to deliver high-quality experiences for travelers, partners, and our employees. A singular technology platform powered by data and machine learning provides secure, differentiated, and personalized experiences for the traveler and our partners that drive loyalty and customer satisfaction. Expedia Group’s Global Payments (EGP) is responsible for tens of billions of incoming payments from the travelers, outgoing payments to the travel suppliers and commission payments from the travel suppliers. For this, we partner closely with a wide range of payment partners globally, including gateways, acquirers, card networks, issuers and fintech companies. The Senior Manager, Payment Strategic Partnerships role will focus on emerging players in the industry, including but are not limited to: fintech companies, value added services, emerging payments orchestration / enablers, and other innovative players. This role will be directly responsible for identifying the right fintech partners to deliver on our strategy, defining the deal structure, agreement execution and management, partner execution and performance. Working with these fintech partnerships you will deliver one or more of the following benefits for EG: (1) Make payments frictionless for the travelers and travel suppliers (2) Drive revenues, transformation of unit economics or other financial benefits (3) Improve EG's strategic position in the travel industry You will work with these partners as well as a wide range of internal stakeholders to systematically identify, prioritize and execute opportunities, including product, tech, legal, treasury, finance and government relationship. You will serve as the enterprise-level relationship lead for these partners, coordinating closely with business owners in B2B, Loyalty, Marketing, to ensure a coherent approach at the Expedia Group enterprise-level.
