About The Position

This position is responsible for the monthly and quarterly planning/forecasting and monthly variance analytics for the Supply Chain and Distribution functions. The individual will work closely with key business partners within each of these functions developing business models, providing guidance, analysis and insight as it pertains to assisting in making financial and key strategic decisions. The individual should be prepared to provide leadership, develop processes and train the organization as well as roll up your sleeves for the annual material standard costing. Understanding inventory, cycle counting, related accounting and business systems is critical to be successful. Prior experience within a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.

Requirements

  • Strong acumen and experience with a Financial Consolidation system (HFM, Adaptive Planning or similar).
  • Direct, hands-on experience in creating, tracking and controlling actual, forecast and budget metrics.
  • Understanding of inventory, cycle counting, and related accounting and business systems.
  • Ability to analyze actual vs. plan results and provide clear interpretation of results.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams skills.
  • Understanding of accounting principles, including general working knowledge of US GAAP & SOX.
  • Experience managing employees and mentoring direct reports.
  • Ability to participate in a multi-cultural, global operating environment.

  • Prior experience within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong background in cost accounting.
  • Understanding of tariffs and their implications on supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly and quarterly planning/forecasting and variance analytics for Supply Chain and Distribution functions.
  • Develop business models and provide guidance, analysis, and insight for financial and strategic decisions.
  • Provide leadership and develop processes while training the organization.
  • Manage annual material standard costing.
  • Analyze actual vs. plan results and summarize underlying drivers of variances.
  • Support VP level leaders and work with all levels of the organization.
  • Proactively drive projects within Supply Chain & Distribution.
  • Manage three FP&A employees under the Supply Chain and Distribution umbrella.
  • Partner with accounting team for accurate reporting and process improvements.
  • Ensure planning and forecasting meets key deadlines from central FP&A and Operations FP&A teams.
