The Senior Manager, Financial Crime Risk Management role leads, develops and oversees the work of a dynamic team of professionals who develop FCRM frameworks, policies, standards and provides oversight, expert policy / regulatory guidance and advice related to specialized domains of TD's AML/ATF/Sanctions /ABAC programs. This role provides specialized project support or services. This role provides strategic and day to day direction on a broad and diverse range of complex FCRM program activities, including assigning workflow, providing governance and support, and addressing and escalating issues. This role also oversees the timely execution of periodic and/or event driven reviews using a risk-based approach to align with policy and regulatory requirements. This role serve as primary escalation point for significant matters/ exceptions. This role identifies and implements risk mitigation strategies for findings from risk assessment, audit findings, regulatory exams, potential violations of law, etc. Additionally, this role coordinates with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, regulators) to provide necessary documentation and support during audits and examinations. This role is directly involved in the enablement of data and compute ecosystems that elevates FCRM's detection capabilities through the build of advancing technologies such as cloud computing and ML/AI environments. This role provides direction on a broad and diverse range of technological domains, including but not limited to data procurement, internal data assessments, entitlements, and the integration of such with compute systems (via batch, API or other means through liaison with Technology partners). Establishes domain knowledge of Line of Business (LoB) specific source systems, data warehouses/constructs Support the development of data and architectural ecosystems that is compliant with enterprise policies, standards, and frameworks Support the enablement of data and compute ecosystems that elevate FCRM's detection capabilities through the build of advancing technologies such as cloud and ML/AI environments Facilitates the migration of source system data into strategic data repositories Support data procurement, internal data assessments, entitlements, and the integration of such with compute systems (via batch, API or other means through liaison with Technology partners) Maintain familiarity with various data and system architectures and provide suggestions on optimal design
