About The Position

The Senior Manager, Finance plays a critical role in driving FP&A and risk mitigation to support strategic business decisions within Walmart’s Health & Wellness segment. Members engage in complex financial modeling, communicate insights to leadership, and support the execution of business strategies. The team emphasizes continuous improvement, accountability, and professional development, fostering clear communication and ethical practices. Together, they align financial strategies with organizational objectives and maintain strong partnerships throughout the company to deliver sustained value.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in FP&A and financial modeling to support business performance.
  • Strong communication skills to present financial results, forecasts, and variances to senior management clearly and accurately.
  • Curiosity and adaptability with the ability to drive multiple business plans, remove obstacles, and adjust strategies based on evolving operational needs.
  • Commitment to upholding ethical standards, compliance, and company policies in all financial activities.
  • Interest in AI, data management, and automation to improve overall efficiency in work.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
  • 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
  • 1 year’s supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead forecasting efforts for Walmart’s Health & Wellness Finance team and assist with close process.
  • Communicate financial results, forecasts, and variances to senior management with clear presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal business partners to develop and improve financial processes and controls, and drive operational strategy.
  • Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, setting priorities, and removing obstacles to performance.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of financial plans and forecasts.
  • Continuously improve forecast processes and methodologies to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and analysis to drive business decisions.
  • Identify and implement transformational activities and new ways of working and drive digital reporting solutions
