About The Position

Join Walmart as a Senior Manager in the Supply Chain Finance team, where you will lead core financial planning and analysis (FP&A) activities. This includes overseeing the financial close, forecasting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP), and Management Incentive Plan (MIP). You will specifically focus on the consolidation and reporting for all Distribution Centers (DCs) and Transportation, serving as a strategic partner to drive performance, enable change, and deliver insights at scale. Strong financial acumen, cross-functional collaboration, and storytelling skills are essential for success in this role. Our Supply Chain Finance team is responsible for providing critical financial insights and support to ensure the efficient operation of Walmart's extensive distribution and transportation network. We work closely with various departments to understand financial drivers, variances, and opportunities, and to enhance the visibility of operational and financial performance. By delivering strategic insights through robust reporting and storytelling, we enable informed decision-making and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
  • 1 year's experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
  • 1 year's supervisory experience.
  • Strong experience in financial planning and analysis, particularly in supply chain finance.
  • Excellent skills in financial consolidation, reporting, and storytelling to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Ability to manage and streamline financial processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Experience in maintaining governance over financial controls and supporting the integration of new tools.
  • Proven leadership skills to manage and develop a team of analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with various departments and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly financial close, forecasting, and annual planning for Walmart's DCs and Transportation network.
  • Drive consolidation of financial results across regions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Partner with Supply Chain operations, Network Strategy, and Finance teams to understand drivers, variances, and opportunities.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and presentations that translate financial data into strategic insights.
  • Enhance visibility into operational and financial performance by evolving dashboards and reporting tools.
  • Communicate business performance and trends to leadership in a compelling, data-driven narrative.
  • Identify and lead initiatives to streamline consolidation and reporting processes, improving timeliness and accuracy.
  • Maintain strong governance over financial controls across DC and Transportation functions.
  • Support the integration of new reporting tools and automation to elevate process effectiveness.
