The Senior Manager of Real Estate & Facilities will lead the development of the regional sourcing and supplier strategy for Avis Budget Group’s Facilities and select Real Estate (i.e., lease) portfolio, representing significant spend across ~1,000+ rental locations in North America. This role is responsible for developing and supporting the execution of sourcing strategies, building supplier relationships, delivering cost savings and other key KPIs, and ensuring alignment with operational and business objectives.

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Facilities (Security, Janitorial, Car Wash Facilities, etc.) and select Real Estate initiatives.
  • Lead the full contract lifecycle process, ensuring favorable terms that account for cost, regulatory, and operational risks.
  • Manage the company’s supplier relationships through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) practices to drive improvements in cost, service, and quality.
  • Partner with operations, finance, and global procurement teams to ensure sourcing initiatives meet business requirements.
  • Support implementation of best practices across markets, driving consistency, efficiency, and value.
  • Share insights and practices across regions to support a globally aligned approach.
  • Monitor supplier performance and hold vendors accountable for service levels and compliance.
  • Identify risks related to supply chain, vendor reliability, and cost fluctuations, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Track and report on key metrics, ensuring progress toward cost savings and operational goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, with specific expertise in Facilities (Security, Car Wash Facilities).
  • Experience managing significant spend portfolios (>$100MM preferred).
  • Strong negotiation and contracting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain supplier relationships that drive business value.
