Summary Leads multi‑site facility startup readiness including automation deployment and vendor governance. Provides oversight across multiple startup facilities ensuring infrastructure deployment meets operational timelines.

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience in facilities leadership, engineering support, or maintenance operations preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or Industrial Engineering preferred
  • Up to 80% travel
  • Excellent problem solving skills, use of formal Root Cause Countermeasure Systems preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Strong organization, analytical and computer skills
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
  • Ability to create and develop an inclusive and engaged work environment across the enterprise
  • Effectively guide profit and loss actions using current data sets
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of Lean principles, systems and tools advanced required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain or an additional two (2) years of relevant work experience required
  • Six (6) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field. required
  • Five (5) years or more managing, leading and developing direct reports required
  • Five (5) years or more managing large multi-level teams preferred
  • Four (4) years or more Profit & Loss responsibility preferred
  • Four (4) years or more demonstrated experience developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and project management skills required
  • Three (3) years or more prior experience in leading teams in a LEAN work environment preferred
  • Two (2) years or more customer interaction required
  • Two (2) years or more managing customer KPIs required
  • Two (2) years or more experience providing customer and senior level management presentations preferred
  • 75–80% travel required.
  • Early Monday travel for site arrival and Friday afternoon or evening departure.
  • Must support two‑week startup assignments when required.
  • Annual inspections during non‑startup periods.
  • Accurate documentation, expense reporting, and operational data submission required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee facility startups
  • Manage vendor partnerships
  • Coordinate automation installations
  • Train maintenance leadership
  • Drive cost savings initiatives
  • Identify and/or solve operational issues with the account(s) by implementing continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives, to strengthen team unity, goals, productivity and results.
  • Manage one or more customer account(s) to meet established metrics and performance expectations.
  • Manage the customer relationship and identify potential opportunities for business growth.
  • Ensure financial objectives are met and grow revenue for assigned account(s).
  • Supervise, develop and manage performance for assigned employees and maintain a positive employee relations environment at assigned account(s).
  • Hire, train, supervise, and coach/mentor direct reports and management team.
  • Maintain a proactive safety program within the account(s) consistent with company policy in order to provide a safe and secure work environment.
  • Manage the profit and loss statements for assigned account(s) and implement actions as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
