This is a key strategic role for an export compliance professional with broad knowledge of export control laws and regulations, best practices, and sanctions, working on execution of various enterprise-wide classifications, reporting to the Director of Export & Sanctions Compliance. Key day-to-day activities will include classification of hardware, software, and technology portfolios across the full suite of Qualcomm’s products and services. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, product and supply chain, and government affairs teams to translate complex designs into export control classifications. The role requires providing guidance on patents, participating in risk assessments and audits, and supporting export compliance requirements globally across the entire product life cycle, including setting strategies, implementing and overseeing tool and systems, and building relationships to ensure effective cross-functional collaboration. This role requires full-time onsite work in San Diego, CA or Washington, DC (5 days per week).
