About The Position

The Special Services Executive Protection team employs a comprehensive, risk based, safety and security program in support of the company's executive leadership. Safety and security are primary elements of the program, but members of this team also function as medical first responders, protocol officers, and administrative aides.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or related field and 4 years' experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area OR 6 years' experience in security, emergency management, risk management, law enforcement, fire service, or related area.
  • Extensive knowledge in executive protection and the ability to spot and assess risk.
  • Operations coordination or project management experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable building relationships and working collaboratively on a cross-functional team.
  • Process-minded and actively seek out opportunities for improved efficiency and effectiveness.
  • LEOSA/HR-218 eligible.

Nice To Haves

  • Medical training or certification(s) such as an EMT or paramedic.
  • Demonstrated experience in personal protective services.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a safe and secure environment in support of Walmart executive leadership through oversight of a comprehensive, risk based, safety and security program.
  • Support all aspects of executive protection including itinerary management, logistics, ground transportation and travel coordination in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
  • Effectively utilize Protective Intelligence strategies to oversee data-driven assessments of internal and external security risks to executives, business operations and assets to determine levels of vulnerability based on the identified risk.
  • Mitigate risks to company assets by evaluating requirements, constraints, assumptions, and variables; identify and assess available risk management options for effectiveness in reducing risks; conduct cost benefit analysis and support implementation of value-based security and protective programs that are consistent with industry security standards and company policies.
  • Coordinate and liaise with public and private sector counterparts to facilitate security requirements in support of executive travel.
  • Manage cross-functional security risk projects for the enterprise, utilize risk assessments, and make recommendations for security measures on global security strategies.
