Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, marketing or related field.
• 6 years of experience in corporate communications, media/public relations, marketing, journalism or equivalent combination of experience.
• Proven track record leading communications teams in large organizations.
• Superb writing, copy editing and public speaking skills.
• Ability to manage multi-platform communications effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of brand journalism and owned content strategies.
• Experience consulting senior-level executives.
• Understanding of the health care industry.
• Ability to write in news-style formats for television/video audiences.
• Development of multi-channel editorial content calendars.

Responsibilities

• Develop executive and stakeholder communications strategies for the Central Florida Division CEO and SVP of Public Affairs.
• Create written, verbal, and video content for AdventHealth leadership and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the executive team to develop a content calendar for communications opportunities.
• Assist in the development of annual business plans and executive toolkits in support of C-suite priorities.
• Produce weekly internal communications content for select C-Suite members.
• Provide thought-leadership strategies and content for various channels, including social media.
