About The Position

As the Senior Manager of Enterprise Architecture, you will be the primary architect and strategic lead for the TAG Engineering and Applications organization. Reporting directly to the SVP of Engineering and Applications, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution. You are responsible for designing resilient, scalable software systems that align with long-term business goals while maintaining a "hands-on" technical presence.

Requirements

  • Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in software design patterns, microservices, API design, and distributed systems. You must be a "hands-on-keyboard" leader capable of technical deep-dives.
  • Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive high-stakes technical decision-making at an enterprise level.
  • Professional Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in software development and architecture. Significant experience in enterprise-level cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is mandatory.
  • Framework Proficiency: Deep familiarity with TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks, with a practical approach to aligning IT with business processes.
  • Education: BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required)

Responsibilities

  • Architectural Strategy & Design: Define the high-level roadmap and structural components for complex software systems. Balance theoretical best practices with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Enterprise Integration: Develop comprehensive strategies to harmonize disparate software components, legacy systems, third-party services, and modern cloud platforms.
  • Innovation & Technology Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert on emerging tech trends. Drive organizational innovation by evaluating and championing the adoption of new tools and platforms.
  • Business Systems Integration: Align architectural decisions with core business functions including ERP, HRIS, and Enterprise Reporting. Special emphasis is placed on optimizing PMS and RCM systems.
  • Governance & Compliance: Establish and enforce rigorous architectural principles, coding standards, and SDLC best practices. Ensure all systems meet strict security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
  • Talent Mentorship: Cultivate a high-performing engineering culture by mentoring junior architects and developers, fostering their growth in both technical skill and architectural thinking.
