The Senior Manager, Energy Project Development, leads site development and collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure successful project execution. This role will advance Walmart’s enterprise energy strategy by leading Fleet electrification initiatives that drive access, cost efficiency, resiliency, and emissions reduction. This role is responsible for scaling innovative energy solutions across the business, building strong partnerships, and enabling long-term value creation for Walmart. The Walmart Energy Fleet team leads the deployment of reliable, cost-effective charging and power infrastructure to support the company’s growing portfolio of zero-emission fleet assets—from passenger vehicles to yard trucks and Class 8 tractors. The team partners with cross-functional stakeholders to plan, design, and execute infrastructure projects; evaluate technologies and markets; and manage risks that impact fleet readiness and operational continuity. By driving scalable infrastructure solutions, the team enables Walmart’s long-term decarbonization goals while maintaining compliance, promoting continuous improvement, and ensuring the fleet has the energy resources needed to operate efficiently and sustainably.
