Responsibilities

  • Build the newly created Employee Relations function, including designing the strategic roadmap and education for the ER function in partnership with the legal team.
  • Conduct investigations into workplace matters, including employee concerns about discrimination, harassment, and policy violations.
  • Use effective investigation techniques to gather and analyze facts, prepare reports, and document findings in an online case management system.
  • Provide consultation, guidance, and coaching to People Partners and managers regarding employee behavior and policy violations.
  • Assist in developing and delivering feedback or corrective actions that align with Udemy's practices.
  • Support the design and implementation of an end-to-end employee relations strategy to address work-related issues.
  • Develop and implement best practice templates and documentation requirements.
  • Conduct manager training in partnership with People Partners and Employment Legal Team.
  • Manage or participate in special projects requiring employee relations stakeholder input.
  • Serve as a point of contact on employee/company policies and compliance, partnering with various stakeholders.
