The Sr. Manager Employee Relations serves as subject matter expert in employee relationship management and as champion for the employee experience. Supports efforts to establish and deploy innovative communication initiatives aimed at informing the employee population of company plans, programs and other impactful initiatives, as well as establishing effective two-way communication between employees and leadership, ultimately driving employee commitment and company loyalty as measured by engagement surveys and EPS score. Provides direction and support to management in maintaining positive employee relations in both union-represented and nonunion environments, as well as being the subject matter expert on employee relations matters by implementing best practice workplace strategies, methods, policies and processes that enable the enterprise to achieve best-in-class performance and efficiencies in the operation. Could facilitate employee /management grievance procedures. Could audit internal programs and current practices and make subsequent recommendations based upon findings. This position has been segmented as Remote Anywhere meaning the work is completed 100% remote anywhere in the U.S. except Hawaii or United States Territories. This position will support the Central Region.
