About The Position

The Senior Manager, EHSS Systems Implementation is accountable for operational performance and successful delivery of EHSS system initiatives, ensuring results impact departmental efficiency, compliance, and overall effectiveness. This role ensures systems are aligned with EHSS business processes and contribute to compliance, risk management, and performance improvement. Working closely with the Director, EHSS Performance & Systems Innovation and cross-functional partners, the Senior Manager supports EHSS systems governance activities, continuous improvement, effective use of EHSS systems across the enterprise and enhances stakeholder experience through training, guidance, and process optimization. The role also supports implementation of new system capabilities, contributing to a unified EHSS systems strategy and ensuring readiness for future-state performance needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, life sciences, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in EHSS systems management, governance, or related roles within a regulated industry.
  • Understanding of EHSS frameworks and process requirements for effective EHSS execution.
  • Knowledge of EHSS software platforms and applications.
  • Demonstrated experience leading project teams or small/medium teams in the implementation or optimization of EHSS systems.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver system improvements.
  • Experience with budget/resource planning and operational decision-making within a departmental context.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate EHSS system governance processes, including prioritization, change control, and lifecycle planning, ensuring alignment with EHSS risk and compliance priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including IT and business stakeholders, to support delivery of system enhancements that meet EHSS operational needs.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system functionality, user experience, and integration with EHSS processes.
  • Support implementation of new EHSS system capabilities, including user acceptance testing, stakeholder communication, and post-deployment support on EHSS processes.
  • Contribute to execution of the EHSS systems roadmap by promoting consistency and alignment across platforms.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within EHSS workflows to improve efficiency and reduce administrative burden.
  • Oversee development and delivery of user training and guidance materials to support effective system adoption and capability building.
  • Monitor system alignment with EHSS process requirements, escalating risks or gaps as needed.
  • Develops, adapts, and implements departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational needs with respect to EHSS systems.
  • Leads and executes critical EHSS system projects or initiatives impacting the operational performance and budgetary/financial results of the group.
  • Works independently with minimal oversight, seeking guidance only in exceptionally complex or novel situations.
  • Ability to work independently without daily oversight, seeking guidance as required.
  • Perform additional duties and assignments as directed.

  • Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours, depending on the nature of their work, and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible. Contractors, leased workers and other service providers are not eligible to participate in the program.
