About The Position

Sitemetric seeks a bar-raising Senior Manager / Director, FP&A as a key member of the finance team responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to the FP&A function while supporting strong cross-functional partnerships. This highly visible role will have a broad remit across Commercial / Go-to-Market Finance and core FP&A / Corporate Finance, with two direct reports. As Senior Manager / Director, FP&A you will work closely with the Vice President of FP&A to scale the FP&A function while driving strong business health. This role will manage two Senior Finance Analysts while leading a wide range of responsibilities focused on building connective tissue between Finance and other departments, delivering high quality and timely business insights, producing meaningful financial planning and analysis, driving strategic projects forward, improving key reporting for executives and the Board, and creating / driving financial rhythms and processes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional experience in FP&A, with strong preference for SaaS/technology and/or Professional Services background in a PE or VC-backed environment
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Demonstrated experience in developing complex financial models, excellent quantitative analysis and forecasting skills
  • Ability to influence without authority, operate in ambiguity, and solve difficult problems
  • Communication & presentation skills. Can easily present complex financial issues to non-finance executives
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, and quickly prioritize for biggest impact
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills, and judgment
  • Proactive and resourceful self-starter who takes initiative and ownership
  • High attention to detail, well organized and able to set priorities
  • Collaborative team-player with strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to cooperate with people at all levels and build positive, lasting relationships across functions
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and pressure test comprehensive analysis to inform the business and drive decisions
  • Experience with ambiguity and ability to effectively multi-task, take initiative and prioritize within a fast-paced, demanding environment
  • Willingness to participate in pre-employment screening process (drug screen and background checks)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with NetSuite ERP and Hubspot CRM platforms
  • Experience with reporting or dashboarding solutions (eg: Tableau, Alteryx)
  • Experience with analytics/advanced modeling techniques and tools (eg: VBA, PowerBI)
  • Familiarity with FP&A tools (eg: Cube, DataRails)
  • Familiarity embedding AI in ongoing work

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders across departments to understand functional roadmaps, priorities, and resourcing needs. Help develop investment business cases as needed. Communicate insights in a simple and concise manner regarding the state of the business to key stakeholders. Generate actionable plans based on complex results and ambiguous findings. Implement creative ways to show patterns and draw conclusions to help drive decisions
  • Develop and maintain dynamic reporting and/or dashboards to glean insights and inform decision-making
  • Ensure a dynamic and connected 3-statement model is maintained for actuals and budget purposes
  • Own business planning and forecasting. Develop and review target setting, forecast and budget models while incorporating insights, risk, and opportunities. Ensure consistency in methodologies and assumptions. Improve forecast accuracy. Maintain a current year budget + 2-year forecast at all times
  • Support weekly operating metrics and monthly business review processes. Ensure repeatable, sustainable workflows through data collection, analysis, and final communication while highlighting insights, opportunities, and risks
  • Own, drive and innovate efficient financial rhythms and reporting. Understand the interconnections between data, information, and results and translate into forward looking narratives and forecasts
  • Build out bullet-proof data room to support future M&A and Corporate Development opportunities
  • Support new enterprise proposals and pricing as needed
  • Oversee product and customer profitability analysis to inform pricing and margin decisions
  • Automate and streamline reporting capabilities through advanced solutions and tools
  • Modernize our FP&A tech stack
