About The Position

The Senior Manager of Digital Marketing will work closely with the Marketing team to plan, manage and oversee all aspects of Bass Pro Shops Hospitality digital marketing. Duties include planning and executing digital campaigns and strategies, including all paid social and digital advertising, and delegating responsibilities to the social media team, along with measuring and reporting the performance analytics of digital campaigns and budgets.

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing
  • 4+ years’ work experience managing paid google and social media business accounts.
  • Proven ability to optimize website performance, including caching, image optimization, code minification, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills and creativity.
  • Extensive knowledge with SEO best practices, schema, and technical SEO as it relates to WordPress, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Highly structured approach to workflow, ensuring tasks and information are logically organized and easy to locate.
  • Strong time‑management discipline, including setting timelines, creating schedules, and maintaining momentum on long‑term initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Bass Pro Hospitality’s following lists on social media.
  • Ability to oversee digital content that supports the strategic marketing and communications goals to help attract, inform and engage stakeholders.
  • Advanced Computer Skills - Using basic computer hardware and software (e.g., personal computers, word processing software, Internet browsers, etc.). The ability to quickly master new software.
  • Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
  • Originality - The ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about products, services or situations, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem.
  • Ability to perform as a strong team player at both a local and corporate level.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years hands‑on WordPress development experience preferred, including building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create and execute ongoing content strategies to advance Bass Pro Hospitality’s mission online with the goal of spreading core stories and content while fostering an enthusiastic and passionate community to support Big Cedar Lodge, Big Cedar Golf, Top of the Rock, Angler’s Lodge, Big Cypress Lodge, and Finley Farms.
  • Partner with in-house and third-party partners to create/capture photo and video assets for use on social and digital channels.
  • Proof and edit engaging content (original copy, photos, videos, and news).
  • Plan and schedule content appropriately within our social scheduling tools.
  • Manage our brand digital images, voice, and engagement across appropriate channels (Connected TV & OTT Advertising).
  • Plan and manage outward appearance of social media channels (i.e. descriptions, highlights, cover photos etc.)
  • Review social media tags/mentions and strategize accordingly.
  • Deploy social listening tools to monitor positive/negative comments and topic trends.
  • Generate reports on overall social channel and digital stats and notable trends and provide meaningful feedback.
  • Digital Marketing strategies and initiatives will include but are not limited to: Website Marketing, Display/Video/Audio/Social Media/Affiliate/Influencer Advertising, SEM, and retargeting/remarketing.
  • Perform other duties within scope of position as assigned.
