About The Position

Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure unit objectives are met. Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations. Successful track record as a manager. Detailed knowledge of technical and business concepts of several related applications areas. BA/BS degree preferred.

Requirements

  • 7 years or more of confirmed IT leadership and management in the technology market.
  • Good knowledge of the Data Center ecosystem (Cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling).
  • Vendor relationship management and negotiations experience.
  • Adaptable and a change catalyst with demonstrated experience.
  • A track record of an ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations.
  • Fluent English written and verbal.
  • BA/BS degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage teams responsible for the availability of several of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's data centers.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of all Data Center sites under your area, in a 24/7 mission critical environment.
  • Ensure timely delivery of services/tasks to meet project milestones.
  • Work with project managers to guide their actions and provide ‘on-the-ground' advice/support.
  • Drive the delivery of improvements and provide detailed feedback in project reviews.
  • Interact across functional areas and teams (e.g., Engineering, Build, Site Selection, Business Operations).
  • React to and manage any incidents that occur, driving resolution and After-Action analysis.
  • Drive appropriate recruitment in your area at a fast pace, ensuring the employment of high-quality team members.
  • Drive a culture of continual improvement and learning throughout everything you do.
  • Work with an elite team to implement and support pioneering Oracle technology in Cloud Data Centers.
