About The Position
Upstream’s Data, Analytics and Technology Team works cross-functionally to ensure internal and external tools function optimally while leading improvement projects that shape the business and promote organizational effectiveness, efficiency and data-driven decision making. Reporting to the Director of Data, Analytics, and Technology, the Senior Manager of Data and Analytics is responsible for managing the strategy and implementation of data solutions (architecture, pipelines, models, and governance) to support Upstream’s efforts in using data and analytics to enable data-driven decisions and efficiencies. They will be a hands-on player-coach who implements patterns and best practices for data modeling and operations (data ops) across Upstream’s data platforms, driving projects to success while mentoring others and maintaining high quality standards. The ideal candidate will have an affinity for solving business problems through innovative approaches, and will be able to keep an eye on the bigger picture while creating and managing data solutions.
