About The Position

Analytics and data are central to understanding our members, refining our products, and driving strategic business decisions. We are hiring a Senior Manager, Product Analytics to lead our Lending analytics team and help shape one of Chime’s most critical growth areas. In this high-visibility role, you’ll partner with leaders across Data, Product, Strategy, Finance, and Engineering to shape decisions that reach millions of members. Reporting to the VP of Analytics, you’ll drive both strategy and execution across our lending products—including how we responsibly expand access to liquidity while improving member financial health. The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $188,000.00 and up to $260,000.00. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 3 years building and managing high-performing teams in fintech, consumer tech, or other data-rich environments.
  • Expertise in experimentation and causal inference, with a track record of designing, analyzing, and scaling impactful tests.
  • Strong product intuition and the ability to connect member behaviors with product roadmaps and financial outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting complex data insights to executives and influencing product, risk, and business strategy.
  • Hands-on technical depth in SQL and analytics tools, and the ability to guide teams using modern data stacks and visualization platforms.
  • Strategic mindset with an operator’s bias, capable of setting long-term vision while driving day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of high-performing analysts across multiple product teams, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigor, and impact.
  • Partner closely with Product, Strategy, and Finance leaders to define and scale Chime’s lending strategy across products like credit, liquidity, and underwriting.
  • Drive experimentation as a thought partner to Product, designing, analyzing, and scaling tests that optimize approval, pricing, engagement, and repayment outcomes.
  • Translate member behaviors and complex data across lending products into actionable insights and executive-ready narratives.
  • Define north star metrics and evolve dashboards that give visibility into portfolio performance, unit economics, and member impact.
  • Bring external perspective, staying on top of fintech, data science, and analytics best practices to raise the bar for the team and company.
  • Collaborate in person with your team and peers in our downtown San Francisco office four days per week.
