About The Position

Do you want to help lead the way in redefining how customers shop in-store and online? Join the Walmart Omni Customer Growth team! Our team's mission is to build exciting shopping experiences that attract attention and connect with customers. As a Senior Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role at the heart of the Omni Experience. You will be responsible for understanding how our customers shop, which tools aid them in their journey and capabilities they are asking us for. This position will be focused on growing our omni customer base, using data & insights to find new ways to acquire digital Walmart customers. This role will work with many internal and external partners including eCommerce, merchant, product, design, marketing, operations and revenue teams. You will be the voice of our customer, using analytics, market trends, competitor experiences, and customer insights to guide the organization to exciting new places.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in business or product operations & strategy, process improvement, or related fields
  • Strong oral and written communication skills - including the ability to develop and deliver complex messages in a simple, actionable way
  • Strong analytical skills - creative problem-solver that can leverage sources of information from disparate sources and deliver comprehensive, balanced, and actionable analysis
  • Proven ability to bridge data with business insights to drive relevant, actionable output
  • Team player who is a self-starter and able to thrive in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
  • Customer-centric & curious: passionate improving the Walmart customer experience
  • Previous eCommerce or Retail experience; operations or customer experience roles a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related area and 5 years' experience in eCommerce merchandising, site operations, business management, or related area OR 7 years' experience in eCommerce merchandising, site operations, business management, information technology, computer science or related area.
  • 2 years' supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze customer acquisition efforts & customer health through analysis of key metrics. Monitor operational performance metrics and web analytics to analyze weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Create Data-driven Insights: you'll use a hypothesis-first approach, statistical techniques, and technical data languages, to create data-driven insights.
  • Conduct Regular and Ad Hoc Analyses: You will conduct both regular and ad hoc analyses, addressing data-related queries and providing comprehensive data stories. This includes participating in business reviews and presentations alongside partners. Your focus is on ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Drive execution of multiple projects and initiatives by identifying customer and operational needs and developing and communicating plans and priorities. Delivering key cross-functional projects that span across multiple teams within the organization. Collaborating daily with cross-functional team members.
  • Ensuring business & cross-functional partner needs are met by evaluating ongoing effectiveness of current plans, programs, and initiatives; consulting with 4iTB (four in the box) partners, or other key stakeholders; soliciting, evaluating, and applying suggestions for improving overall business health.
  • Promoting and supporting company policies, procedures, mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by way of training and providing direction to others in their use and application and ensuring compliance and utilizing and supporting the Open-Door Policy
  • Operating with excellence - You'll lead key operational processes on the team from weekly and monthly business reviews to management of the issues and ideas intake process. You'll land the fundamentals and create and help scale best-in-class efficient workflows and processes.
