About The Position

At Levi Strauss & Co., we are looking for a strategic and data driven Senior Manager to lead our Email, Push Notification, and SMS marketing programs. This role will drive strategy and execution for multi-channel campaigns delivering customer engagement, repeat purchase, and revenue. The Senior Manager will manage a team of marketers and work cross functionally with partners across creative, data science, analytics, loyalty, PR, product, retail, and e-commerce. While primarily focused on the US market, this role will also provide global support to local marketing teams in other countries, helping to drive brand cohesion and shared best practices.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or direct marketing with a strong focus on email.
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Familiar with a variety of ESP and personalization tools.
  • Track record of improving performance through continuous testing and optimization.
  • Experience working closely with creative teams and aligning to brand guidelines.
  • Experience using web analytics platforms and/or SQL.
  • Experience with Omnichannel programs supporting both e-commerce and retail.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for overall strategy and results across all email, push, and SMS communications.
  • Create a holistic messaging plan that encompasses dedicated sends for key promotional moments and automated trigger programs based on data.
  • Develop customer journey maps and optimize multi-touch campaigns to engage customers during key lifecycle stages such as welcome, cart abandonment, win-back, etc.
  • Utilize customer data to develop targeting segments and deliver personalization at scale.
  • Drive continuous improvement to all programs through ongoing testing of creative, frequency, copy, audiences, etc.
  • Provide insights to creative teams that inform direction of future assets.
  • Liaison with data science to improve segmentation strategy with behavioral or demographic insights.
  • Work with merchandising partners to understand contemporary product selling trends.
  • Own relationships with technology partners and vendors to ensure necessary tools and partnerships are in place.
  • Develop talent, build skill sets, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Share learnings, test results, and best practices with local teams outside of the US market.
