About The Position

The Production Operations and Resourcing manager is a Senior Manager position. This role will work with all production Senior Managers and leads to oversee general operations and resourcing of people, time and facilities. The candidate will also be responsible for making sure that the Studio functions as efficiently as possible, implementing tools and systems that drive optimized performance and output. You will also develop production scheduling tools with existing software and implement new solutionsthat drive optimized results This will include project/infrastructure management, training, weekly WIP Reporting & Status meeting, Production interface, Operational . They must also liaise and foster relationships internally across all production studios, disciplines, creative and account stakeholders. The Production Operations and Resourcing Manager is a leader who can motivate individuals to perform to their best. Excellent communication skills and an ability to mentor and spot problems before they arise are crucial. Candidates must be resilient, patient, approachable and accountable. A problem solver and a builder of net new workflows and studio operations protocols. This role demands the ability to pivot quickly, and the skills to get in and get the work done when necessary as well as anticipate & adapt to what's around the next corner, or when things aren't as efficient or effective as intended.

Requirements

  • Fluency with Adobe, Airtable, Microsoft 365 [specifically Excel], financial reporting and reconciliation
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Marketing, Creative Writing, Advertising, Fine Arts, or related field and 3 years' experience in editorial content management or related field OR 5 years' experience in editorial content management or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop scheduling, resource planning SOPs, and operationalize how productions are planned.
  • Develop and implement universal intake form for IP.
  • Oversee a strategic roadmap for implentation of Ai for appropriate operational tasks.
  • Run monthly utilization reports and forecasts.
  • Work with the facilities and studio teams to allocate equipment, production planning and sourcing based on project needs.
  • Weekly report for status meeting containing all overrunning projects, suite and site utilization and relevant Studio operational metrics
  • Ongoing project tracking and monitoring for best optimization
  • Timely flagging of overrunning projects and action plan to solve with Directors and project leads
  • Tracking large scale enablement initiatives performance and progress
  • Documentation, training, governance, and enforcement of best Studio Operations practices
  • Weekly Studio Operations meeting with on-site studio teams
  • Weekly Status meeting and reports for HOP
  • Oversee studio resourcing and budgeting tool specific for production and Post; and integration of data into Airtable, Anaplan and readouts for finance.
  • Establish job jacket structure, SOPs and implementation for all producers to use in job wrap.
  • Work with all producers on job actuals, reconciliation and updating of job jackets.
  • Work with production, artists and finance to audit and complete all job jackets prior to close; including receipt of all assets.
  • Responsible for freelance artist rate approvals and tracking on shared platform to ensure consistency and visibility.
  • Review of overtime spend and discussion with HoP and EP for resolution
  • Responsible for approving all 3rd party/outsource costs
