Job Description: Job Summary: The Senior Manager, Corporate Finance and FP&A will assist in the creation and maintenance of financial models, including core exhibit operating model and Long-term Planning model (LTP), financial reporting, execution of corporate transactions, other financial analysis work, and ad-hoc special projects. You will partner with our VP, Strategic Finance, the CFO, and other cross-functional leaders across Meow Wolf. In this dynamic, high-visibility role you will combine problem solving skills with deep technical finance knowledge to help drive strategic and operational decisions throughout the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of success (5-8+ years) in Investment Banking, Management / Financial Consulting, Private Equity, Corporate Finance management development program, FP&A or a similar background.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of three-statement financials, cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, financial operating model development, and GAAP accounting concepts.
  • Proactive communicator.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and intellectually curious.
  • Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and exhibit flexibility.
  • Strong Google Suite, Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Investment Banking, Management / Financial Consulting, Private Equity, Corporate Finance management development program, FP&A or a similar background preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Workday Finance and/or Adaptive a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the financial planning and analysis for key business areas, serving as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional teams—especially General Managers and Senior Leadership—on operating plans, resource allocation, and performance optimization.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of scalable, dynamic financial models in collaboration with business units; ensure models are accurate, actionable, and aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Drive key strategic and operational decisions by proactively delivering insights, scenario analyses, and recommendations to senior leaders across the company.
  • Deliver ongoing financial and operational analysis through deep cross-functional partnerships, including forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and investment prioritization.
  • Prepare and present materials for senior leadership and the Board, distilling complex data into clear and impactful narratives.
  • Improve operational efficiency by identifying and leading process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements across Finance and partner teams.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages; ensure accuracy and alignment with leadership expectations.
  • Develop business cases and lead financial diligence for new initiatives, product launches, and strategic investments.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights into financial performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting key trends and risks.
  • Lead and execute budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, coordinating inputs across departments and ensuring alignment with company strategy.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members; provide guidance on financial best practices, professional development, and day-to-day deliverables.
  • Support special projects and ad hoc analysis at the request of leadership or as needs arise in a fast-paced and evolving business
