Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field and 3 years' experience in Merger & Acquisitions, Investment Banking, Business OR 5 years' experience in Merger & Acquisitions, Investment Banking, Business Development, Engineering, or related area.
  • Experience in corporate development, M&A, investment banking, or management consulting, with a track record of leading complex transactions.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including valuation, financial modeling, and ROI analysis.
  • Strong project management abilities, with experience guiding cross-functional teams through governance and execution.
  • Expertise in negotiation, legal agreements, and due diligence processes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to assess macroeconomic trends and business drivers.
  • Ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with both internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business units to develop strategies for growth, including acquisitions, divestitures, and equity partnerships.
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, facilitate introductions, and assess strategic fit for Walmart.
  • Lead business case development, including valuation, ROI analysis, and deal structuring to support buy, build, or partner decisions.
  • Manage transaction execution, including negotiations, due diligence, legal agreements, and post-purchase integration.
  • Present recommendations and business cases to senior leadership, driving alignment and approvals.
  • Oversee integration or divestment projects, ensuring successful execution and realization of synergies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and investment banks.
